论“成人教育”定义的难题 局限性及应对

摘    要:成人教育足一个内涵和外延不断变化的动态概念,由于成人教育的发展和研究者自身的知识背景、定义角度等各不相同,“成人教育”的定义难以取得共识,致使教育理论指导和实践应用出现许多困难。通过对“成人教育”定义难题进行分析,发现定义困难的深层原因是概念隐含着两方面的局限性:一是成人教育概念内涵存在不确定性,二是定义受时代特征的限制。针对其定义的局限性提出相应的应对方法,以期使“成人教育”定义更为规范和完善。

Abstract:The concept of adult education is the dynamic concept with its connotation and denotation changing continuously. Because of the development of adult education and the difference of researchers' knowledge background and define angle, it is difficult to reach a consensus about the concept of adult ed- ucation, which leads to many difficulties in theoretical direction of education and application. According to the analysis on the difficulty of definition of adult education, it finds out that the deep reasons why it is difficult to definite include two limitations:Firstly, the connotation of the concept of adult education is indefiniteness; Secondly, the definition is limited in characteristics of the times. In this paper, the ap- propriate ways to deal with the limitations of its definition are given, which can standardize and improve the definition of adult education.
