| 摘 要： | 任何语言都兼具形合和意合两方面的特征，不同的是各种语言在表现趋势上存在差异。汉语的意合和英语的形合的区别体现在词组、句子和言语层次上，构成了英汉两种语言质的差异。探讨这些差异有利于促进英汉对比和英汉互译的研究。

An Inquiry into the Difference between Chinese and English Hypotaxis and Parataxis |

| Abstract: | Any language bears the characteristics of both hypotaxis and parataxis.But various languages differ in a tendency in expression.Chinese parataxis and English hypotaxis embody their differences in the arrangement of ideas in phrase,sentence and speech.Thus,a qualitative difference has arisen between Chinese and English languages.A probe into these differences maks for the study of the contrast between Chinese and English and Chinese-English or English-Chinese Translations. |
