| 摘 要： | 早在《紫色》发表当年,就有评论家把书中所插入的聂蒂自非洲的来信看成是小说结构上的一个弱点。实际上,聂蒂的非洲之旅展现出很强的意识形态功能。法国哲学家德鲁兹与心理学家瓜塔里提出的"解域"思想为客观阐述聂蒂的非洲之旅提供了新的理论范式。概括起来,聂蒂的非洲之旅对白人文化代码的解域体现在两个方面:一是解域了"白人优越论"的种族代码;二是解域了(白人)基督教的宗教代码。因此,聂蒂自非洲的来信不仅在小说结构上与茜莉的信件构成了对称美,而且进一步深化了小说的主题。

| Abstract: | Early in the year when The Color Purple was published,some critics took Nettie's letters from Africa as a weakness of the structure.In fact,Nettie's journey to Africa serves a strong ideological purpose.The concept of deterritorializtion put forward by Deleuze and Guattari provides a theoretic framework for us to comprehend fully the function of her journey,which on one hand decodes the discriminatory racial code and on the other decodes the white Christian code.Therefore,Nettie's letters not only constitute an organic part of the novel's structure but help to develop the theme. |
