| 摘 要： | 通过对特定对象——当代东西方青年实施致歉行为的数据收集,运用SPSS统计软件进行卡方检验,结果显示,汉英受试者在减轻、认可、解释、补偿、保证和关心等6个礼貌策略上没有显著的语言文化差异,而在拒绝、道歉、求罚等3个礼貌策略上却有显著的语言文化差异．这既体现了汉英文化的共通性和相互渗透,也体现了不同文化中“面子”的不同含义．

| Abstract: | Based on the data collected from specially-defined groups ?modern youth from China and Western countries, employing statistical software SPSS to calculate Chi-Square, the results show that Chinese and English apologies have no significantly differences on 6 strategies of minimization, acknowledgement, explanation, compensation, forbearance and concern, while they are significantly differentiated by 3 strategies of rejection, direct apology, and punishment. This not only reveals the mutual-penetration of Eastern and Western cultures in the modern time, but also reflects the different connotations of "face" in different cultures. |
