In view of the functional structure,the natural environment conditions and the problems involved in Longyan economical development,Longyan city layout of newly developed area blends the environment with traditional features,taking account of the historical background and the present situation.The layout stresses culture heritage and highlights the local distinctiveness and cohesive force with a view to developing its individuality.The layout considers the city's multifunctions,trying to provide favourable living conditions and to create a novel city space integrating local cultural heritage and contemporary style.
