| 摘 要： | 高等教育自学考试(简称"自学考试")制度已经成为一种重要的高等教育制度,是积极发展我国高等教育的有效途径。1988年国务院正式颁布了《高等教育自学考试暂行条例》(简称"《条例》"),1998年《高等教育法》的颁布使自学考试制度得到了进一步的确立,《条例》的制定为我国高等学校制度建设、考试制度建设奠定了很好的基础。当前自学考试应依据自身特点进一步发挥制度优势,扩大服务领域,为建设有中国特色社会主义现代教育制度做出进一步的贡献。
