| Abstract: | Language,which is used to communicate is an integral part of a country's culture.Lacking of cultural background knowledge tends to be a main cause of cross-culture miscommunication for the non-native learner who does not automatically share the background knowledge of the target language.This essay will illustrate the importance and approaches of increasing cultural awareness in teaching English as foreign language class. |
