乡土叙事中的直线与循环历史观

直线历史观是现代性的特征之一,当现代性成为乡土叙事的最终追求目标时,直线历史观在乡土叙事中得以充分体现出来,意在表达一种对乡土现代性的渴望。但随着现代化进程对于乡土的种种破坏,在后现代语境下,一种循环历史观重又返回在乡土叙事中,这种历史观的轮回表明了中国知识分子对现代性的犹疑心态,也表明了中国现代性的复杂性与曲折性。

Linear and Circular Historical Perspectives in Native-soil Narratives

The linear historical perspective is one of the features of modernity. When modernity turns to be the ultimate objective of the native-soil narrative, the linear historical perspective is fully embodied in the narrative, which tries to convey a desire for native-soil modernity. But with various damages of modernity made to native-soil, a type of circular historical perspective reoccurred in native-soil narratives in the postmodernism context. The shift of the historical perspective exhibits the suspicion of Chinese scholars over modernity, as well as the complexity and complication of Chinese revolution.
