20世纪30年代，由国民政府内政部发起，各省市县开展了一次广泛的风俗调查与陋俗改良活动。这次活动是配合刚取得全国政权的国民党进行社会整合，加强社会控制而进行的。本文根据中国第二历史档案馆收藏的各地风俗调查和陋俗改良活动的材料，对这次活动进行研究和评价，从而从一个侧面探讨国家、地方、民众三者在社会风俗改良活动中的互动关系。

On Custom Investigation and Reformation of the Nationalists Government during the 1930s

During the 1930s, initiated by the Nationalists Government's Internal Affair Ministry, custom investigation and reformation was carried out in a large scale in Chinese provinces, cities and towns. This activity was intended to help the Nationalists, who had just obtained sovereignty over the nation, to conform and control the society. The paper, based on the materials about the custom investigation and reformation stored in the Second Chinese History Archives, is intended to research and judge this activity, so as to inquire into the interaction among the government, the locality and the common people in the social custom reformation.
