Analysis on Causes of American Civil War from the Perspective of Constitutional Operation

Seemingly the difference between the modes of production of the South and North could decide that the American Civil War would be inevitable.However analysis on the antebellum constitutional operation,which should be very meaningful,has long been ignored.In the first half of the 19th century many challenges had been shaking the American constitutionalism structure,in which slavery issue was in the Centre on the Constitutional transformation.But the issue alone could not be the only and inevitable cause of the Civil War.All the branches of the government,Legislative,Judicial and Administrative,should be to blame for that War.
