"文学"概念的流变及缘起浅释

文学这个概念在古代是模糊的、流动的,唐以前范畴的外延表现出强大的活性,推动着内涵由"文化性文学"向"审美性文学"演进,由于特定的历史文化观照,在南北朝终于形成了一个折衷性的泛文学概念.唐以后这个泛文学概念成为惯例,并表现出强烈的保守性,拒绝接纳新的体裁,极力维持着僵化的内涵,导致直到近代,清晰的"审美性文学"范畴在文学史上始终没有形成.

Evolution of Literature Conception and Explanation of Historical Solicitude

Literature, as a category, is blurred and dynamic in the history of literature. Before Tang Dynasty the extensions of this category demonstrated great vitality, promoting the transformation of literature from cultural nature to aesthetic one. Due to a given historical and cultural context in Northern and Southern Dynasties,an eclectic pan-literary conception came into being eventually. As a result, after Tang Dynasty such a conception was accepted as a convention, which was so strongly conservative that it did its utmost to keep its rigescent connotation while refused to admit new extensions; thus in the history of Chinese literature a clear-cut and aesthetic literary category in modern sense did not come into being.
