Comparisons between Nida's and Newmark's translation theories

Both Nida and Newmark are outstanding western theorists in the field of translation.In the present study,we compared their translation theories.There are many similarities in their corresponding theories,as well as differences.Certainly,they both have their own shortcomings.But their constant effort to develop their theories deserves our respect.
