| 摘 要： | 夸张是英汉中常见的一种修辞手法,对它进行研究的不乏其人,但本文试图从审美的新角度,通过大量的英汉例句,对夸张的价值进行探讨。本文认为,夸张能够创造新异的意象美,能够表现情感美,表现崇高美,还能制造喜剧效果。

| Abstract: | Hyperbole is a very common figure of speech in both English and Chinese.A lot of people have done researches on hyperbole,but this thesis tries to display a new respect on hyperbole,by a large amount of examples both in English and Chinese,and does a further research on hyperbole.It proves that hyperbole can create a new image beauty,affection beauty,noble beauty and comedic effects. |
