摘    要:我国英语教学效率低下的原因是把一门技能课按知识课进行教授和用小学语教学的方法。提高英语教学效率,要实施“读听领先,练辅为主”的教学新模式,要提高英语教师的综合素质和教学工作的现代化水平。

Abstract:The reason why our country's English teaching efficiency is insufficient lies in that teachers often teach the technical course as teach the knowledge course and use the teaching ways as that used to teach Chinese course in primary schools. For the purpose of enhancing teaching efficiency, it is necessary to carry out the new teaching mode as "reading and listening comprehension takes first and put exercising in important position"; still, to enhance the multi-quality of the teachers of English and enhance the modernization level of teaching work.
