吴趼人与梁启超关系钩沉

吴趼人撰<二十年目睹之怪现状>,一向被视为由梁启超倡导的"小说界革命"代表作.吴氏的不少小说,也是在梁启超主办的<新小说>杂志上开始连载.从有关史料看,吴趼人不仅于1904年在日本招待过梁启超,而且他的小说<胡宝玉>从题目、构思以至章节设计与梁启超的<李鸿章>均有相似之处,明显受到梁的影响,二人从行迹到心迹遇合说明吴趼人的小说创作是对梁启超维新理想的呼应.

Investigation into the relation between Wu Jianren and Liang Qichao

Strange Things in the Past Twenty Years by Wu Jianren is regarded as the representative work of "Novel Revolution" advocated by Liang Qichao. Many novels of Mr. Wu were serialized in "New Novel "directed by Mr. Liang. According to some historical materials, Mr. Wu had met Mr. Liang in Japan in 1904. Mr.Wu's novel Hu Baoyu shared such commons with Mr. Liang's Li Hongzhang as title, plot and structure. Therefore, the consistency of their movements and thoughts shows that Mr Wu's literary creation is the direct response to Liang Qichao's ideal of reform.
