| 摘 要： | 奥尼尔承认他对道家思想比任何其他东方思想更感兴趣，因此，道家思想成为他创作的重要组成部分。文章将在细读原作的基础上剖析奥尼尔的代表作《送冰的人来了》中的道家思想，从而论证奥尼尔的道家情结。

| Abstract: | Taoism, which, as O＇Neill asserted, appealed to him more than other schools of Oriental thoughts illuminates some important aspects of O＇Neill＇s plays. This paper offers a close reading of The Iceman Cometh, one of O＇Neill＇s masterpieces, and examines the Taolst elements in it to demonstrate O＇Neill＇s affinities with Taoism. |
