译者的认知能力与译文质量

摘    要:翻译就是意义从源语到目的语的再现。而意义的形成与人的认知关系密切。从认知语言学的角度来研究翻译逐年增多,还形成了认知语言学的翻译观,但从译者的认知能力来探讨译文质量的研究还不多。文章从认知视角、认知结构和认识逻辑三个角度,结合具体的例子分析,认为译者的双语语言文化认知能力和逻辑能力对译文质量产生直接影响,决定译文质量。

Translator's Cognitive Competence and Translation Quality

Abstract:Translation is actually a restatement,in target language,of the original meaning in source language. And the meaning formation is closely related to human's cognition. The translation study from cognitive perspective has been on the rise in recent years,and a cognitive view on translation has also been developed,but much leaves to be studied on the relationship between translator's cognitive competence and translation quality. Based on the analysis of some concrete examples,this paper attempts to find out how translator's cognitive competence influences and even determines the translation quality in terms of cognitive perspective,cognitive structure and cognitive logic.
