| Abstract: | After reviewing the definition and usage of parallelism structure,the paper probes into the rhetorical functions of parallelism with the perspective of phonetic manifestation.The discussion is made from three aspects of the phonetic beauty: alliteration,assonance,consonance.The aim of the paper is to enhance reader's awareness of the characteristics and techniques of phonetic parallelism,and to help readers gain a deeper understanding of the beauty of literary works. |
