| Abstract: | WANG Chuan-shan′s linguistic thoughts were mainly embodied in his works Shuo Wen Guang Yi.He had distinctive ideas about the borrowing usage of Chinese characters,the features and evolution of function words,the pronunciation of polyphonic words and the extended meaning of words.WANG Chuan-shan′s contribution in linguistic history should be correctly realized and the position he should have should be established. |
