创新管理模式 强化学术管理——基于马里兰大学学术事务管理运行模式的思考

学习美国大学的管理经验,拓展大学管理的国际视野,以寻求在全球化视域下我国大学内部管理上的突破与创新,这是一件十分紧迫而又意义深远的事情。通过对美国马里兰大学内部学术事务管理运行模式的二元权力结构以及学术评议会制度的分析,提出我国大学需要进一步创新管理模式,维护学术权力,进一步增强学术定位和办学目标的稳定性,进一步加大学校学术品牌建设等观点。

Some Reflections upon Innovative Academic Management Based on Academic Management Mode in Maryland University

In the trend of internationalization,it is imperative and significant to expand our horizon and learn the management experience of U.S.universities in pursuit of breakthroughs in Chinese university management.This paper analyzes binary power organization in the academic management mode and Academic Review Committee system in University of Maryland and then put forwards some suggestions for Chinese universities including implementation of innovative management,emphasis on academic authority,stability of operation objective,and enhancement of university brand construction,etc.
