摘    要:奥运会的巨额投资必将对举办城市的经济发展产生重要影响.但是,如何合理评价这种经济影响?又将如何促进奥运经济对于举办地经济发展的正面作用?试图从区域经济评估角度对上述问题展开研究.首先对比分析国外相关评价方法及其结论中的不足,指出运用DEA方法展开研究的可行性.然后,运用DEA评价技术,选择合适的投入产出指标,收集近几届奥运会区域影响的样本数据,进行经济影响大小的DEA比较评价与排序.在此基础上,分析了部分区域影响单元无效的原因以及影响奥运经济区域效果的相关因素,并据此对北京奥运会的筹办提出政策建议.

Abstract:The enormous investment of Olympic Games will inevitably exert significant impact on the economic development of host city. However, there are problems of how to present reasonable evaluation of the impact and how to promote the impact positively. In this paper, these above problems will be explored from the perspective of regional economics. Firstly, the limita- tions in the current research method and conclusions are pointed out, the feasibility of adopting DEA method in this field is discussed. Furthermore, the BCC-DEA model is applied and appropriate input-output indicators are chosen. Based on the above information, the DEA comparative evaluation and complete ranking for the latest Olympic Games are conducted in terms of the impact on regional economy. In the end, the relevant factors that affect regional economy of the Olympics are analyzed, thus constructive suggestions are proposed for the preparation and operation of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
