中西青年审美差异的历史、文化渊源

古希腊、古罗马文化是西方文明的基础。希腊神话、希腊悲剧、希腊雕塑和酒神文化等,渲染着一种与东方文化、中国文明完全不同的精神。这种精神潜移默化地熏陶着西方一代又一代人,使他们具有西方人特有的文化心理结构和审美观。而具有五千年文明的中华文化,特别是儒家和道家思想,在塑造中国人的文化心理结构方面的作用,更是显而易见的。所以,中国青年的审美观便带上了特有的东方色彩,与西方迥然不同。

The Historical and Cultural Origins of the Aesthetic Differences between Chinese and Western Young People

The origins of Western civilization are Ancient Greek and Roman cultures. Mythology, tragedy, Sculpture and bacchanal culture, etc. of Greek origin infiltrated a spirit which is totally different from that of the Orient civilization and Chinese civilization. This spirit has exerted subtle influences on western people from generation to genertion and formed them with a particular psychological and aesthetic trait. In contrast, the Chinese civilization of five thousand years' history, especially Confucianism and Taoism, has obviously modeled the cultural and psychological structures of Chinese people. The aesthetic value of Chinese young people is sharply different from that of Western young people.
