试论"以美育代宗教"

摘    要:宗教是人类信仰和精神教育的重要途径和手段,美育正是精神教育尤其是情感教育的主要途径和手段。在中国缺乏真正意义上的本土宗教以及外来宗教在中国“水土不服”的情况下,蔡元培等人提出“以美育代宗教”,以解除国民精神教育的贫困,但因理论和实践都存在问题而未能实现。在科技时代人文精神薄弱和重塑民族精神的背景下,认真分析这一问题具有重要的理论和现实意义。

Abstract:Religion is an important means and measure to human's belief and spirit education, so is Aesthetic education. For the fact that the exact autochthonous religion was hardly been found in China while exotic religion was not well accustomed, Cai Yuanpei proposed "Substituting Aesthetic Education for Religion" in order to eliminate vacuum state of spirit education. Unfortunately, the idea couldn't be turned into reality for academic and practical reasons. So, it has significant academic and practical meaning on analyzing the idea to face the era that prefers technology to humanity spirit and the fact that the national spirit must be rebuilded.
