| Abstract: | It is a very important event for environmental education in China that "Green School" was advanced. The article discusses the connotation of the "Green School" in the light of a brief discussion on history of international environmental education, and argues that: 1. "Green School" is a all-round way for environmental education in nature ; 2. the connotation of "Green School" varies with the development of environmental education; 3. there are at least 6 features for a modern"Green School"; 4. it is important and possible to develop "Green School"s in China. |
