当代大学是一个存在多种权力形态的场域,其中最为显著的权力形态有:大学通过委托—代理方式而获得部分公共权力的行使权,这种权力必须保证大学公共利益目标的实现;基于高深学问而生成的学术权力,学术权力要求由学术人员来控制学术事务;大学成员参与大学管理的民主权力,民主监督等是民主权力的重要内容,而教代会等则是实现民主权力的重要途径;学生根据教育契约关系而拥有的消费者权力,学生作为教育服务产品的消费者拥有特殊的消费者权力并有多种维权方式。权力是审视当代大学内部结构关系的重要视角。
