建设有中国特色的“中国美学”

中国古典美学源远流长、博大深厚,然而,20世纪以来的“百年美学”却是西方美学体系直接影响下的产物。作为一种知识背景、学术资源,西方美学对建构20世纪中国美学确实有着很重要的意义。但是,中国和西方有着不同的社会文化背景和审美体验方式。一味地用西方美学的逻辑与体系来套用中国美学,而忽视中国古典美学自身的特点,必然会丧失其独特魁力。因此。我们必须立足于中国自身的学术传统。必须以中国文化精神和审美理想为学术基点,有选择地利用西方的学术理论,建设有中国特色的“中国美学”。

Establishing an "Chinese Aesthetics" with Chinese Characteristics

Chinese classical aesthetics has a long history and shows profound spirits. However, "centennial aesthetics" born in the 20th century was influenced directly by western aesthetics system. As a knowledge background and an academic resource, western aesthetics has important meaning in establishing the 20th century's aesthetics. But there are many differences between China and the west in the background of culture and the way of feeling beauty. Chinese aesthetics will lose its unique attraction if we always mimic rigidly western logic and system without distinguishing. Therefore, establishing a "Chinese aesthetics" with Chinese characteristics should be based on Chinese academic tradition, cultural spirits,and aesthetic ideal.And the use of western academic theory should be selective.
