| 摘 要： | 本文结合词典释义的基本原则和方法,审视了第5版《现代汉语词典》1]在释义方面存在的五点主要缺陷：1.释义词难于被释义词;2.释义词或释文中的词汇在词典中无释义;3.被释义词的日常意义被忽略;4.被释义词的内涵或外延未被全面揭示;5.释文存在不妥、不科学之处。最后,本文尝试性地提出了相应的改进措施和几点建设性意见。

| Abstract: | Based on the fundamental dictionary definition principles and methods,this paper examines the five major definition deficiencies in The Contemporary Chinese Dictionary（5th ed.）： 1.The defining word is more difficult than the definiendum;2.The defining word itself has no definition in this very dictionary;3.The common sense of the definiendum is ignored;4.The connotation or the denotation of the definiendum is not thoroughly revealed;5.Some definiens are inappropriate and unscientific.Lastly,some improvements and tentative suggestions are advanced. |
