孙诒让学术渊源辨析

The Discrimination of Sun Yirang's Scholarly Root

It＇s undesirable to classify Sun Yirang to scholastist or the representative figure of Yongjia School in later Qing period when his scholarly root is under discussion. Sun＇s thoughts and scholarly root is rather complicated,his scholarly research combines the scholasticism of Yongjia School and the argumentation of Qianjia School,inherits Gu Yanwu＇s spirit of administer the state and philological studies in the beginning of Qing period,takes in the historical theory and method of Zhang Xuecheng,the historian in the east of Zhejiang. What＇s more,in his later period,influenced by modern Western learning,finally,he formed his scholarly characteristics：widely verse in the classics and history,extensively study the philologic studies,combination of the learnings of Han period and Song period,mix with Western learning.
