| 摘 要： | 詹姆斯.韦尔奇在艺术创作上兼收并蓄,既固守本土传统,又注意吸收法国超现实主义和荒诞派的创作技巧,从而使他的诗歌在当今美国诗坛上独树一帜,他本人也因此成为当代美国印第安诗人的领军人物。

| Abstract: | As a poet who attaches equal importance to foreign culture as well as native tradition,James Welch has incorporated the French surrealistic and absurdist elements into his artistic creation.As a result,his poetry has enjoyed a unique position in contemporary American poetry and he has become one of the leading figures among contemporary native American poets. |
