| Abstract: | An exceptionally severe flood in history affected Yangzhou city this year. The losses caused by the flood disaster were serious, which exerted great negative influence upon the sustainable development of social economy in Yangzhou city. Based on the analysis of the characteristics and causes of the flood, this paper presents the countermeasures for disaster reduction. |
