马克斯·范梅南(Max van Manen),系加拿大阿尔伯塔大学教育学院教授、课程学和教育学研究院主任、国际质性方法学研究院首席科学家、世界著名教育学专家、教育哲学家、课程学专家和人文科学研究方法论专家。范梅南教授是教育现象学的开创者之一,《教育现象学》(PhenomenologyandPedagogy)杂志的主编,现同时担任着北美和欧洲六种教育和人文科学研究国际学术杂志的顾问编辑或国际编委。范梅南教授曾获得多项国际荣誉,主要有:北美教育研究学会“课程和教学研究终身成就奖”,美国人类理解国际学院“人类理解杰出贡献奖”,加拿大教育学研究杰出国际成就奖,加拿大移民杰出成就勋章。范梅南教授在教育学方面的论著和论文颇多,最有影响的包括《教育的机智》、《生活体验研究》、《儿童时代的秘密》、《教学的调子》等。他的许多论著和研究成果已被译成了德语、西班牙语、葡萄牙语、挪威语、日语、朝鲜语、荷兰语和汉语,在世界范围产生了深远的影响。

Dr. Max van Manen is Professor of Education in the Faculty of Education of University of Alberta, Canada. He is Director of Curriculum and Pedagogy Institute, Senior Scientist of the International Institute of Qualitative Research Methodology, world-recognized education master, education philosopher and research methodology expert. He is one of the pioneers of Phenomenological Pedagogy. He is the chief editor of journal of Phenomenology and Pedagogy. Among his many publications, the most influential ones include Tact of Teaching, Researching Lived Experience, Childrens Secrets, Tone of Teaching, Many of his publications have been translated into quite a number of languages including German, Spanish, Portuguese, Norwegian, Japanese, Korean, Dutch and Chinese and are very popular and influential world wide.
