France: The Law of July 21, 1980, Amending Articles 13, 14, And 15 of The Law of Orientation of Higher Education of November 12, 1968

The councils shall be composed, in a spirit of participation, of teachers, researchers, students, and members of the non-teaching staff. No one may be elected to more than one university council nor to more than one council for the unity of teaching and research.
