Charging Expenses to Students Inadvisable

Some schools launched campaigns to promote respect for teachers and value for teaching. Others organized teacher-student get-togethers. Some schools invited teachers on spring excursions, others presented them with kitchen utensils and other souvenirs. All these activities were carried out "in great splendor." Regrettably, the expenses were shouldered by the students. At assembly meetings school leadership promised that these activities will continue.
