“通才教育”在高校第二课堂中的实践与运用——西南联大学生社团活动的启示

当前，中国各高等院校的第二课堂活动开展得如火如荼，并取得了显著成效。第二课堂相对于课堂教学而言，内容更加丰富多彩，形式更为灵活多样。事实上，这正是“通才教育”思想的具体体现，其目的是将学生培养成全面发展、能适应社会需求的人。70余年前的西南联合大学（简称西南联大）在这方面做出了典范。“通才教育”的办学理念，不仅体现在西南联大的教学管理上，而且还在第二课堂的社团活动中得到充分展现。它的理论和实践给我们提供了许多有益启示，指导我们在开展第二课堂活动的过程中去贯彻和实施“通才教育”的思想。
