| 摘 要： | 顺应论是Verschueren提出的语用学研究理论,强调语言使用过程中的选择必须与语境相顺应。翻译也不例外。在《师傅越来越幽默》的英译本中,译者葛浩文选择顺应英语语境,即英语读者语言语境和交际语境,使译本在英语世界易于接受,获得大量好评。但同时,对中国的文化特色也存在一些误读和屏蔽。

| Abstract: | The adaptation theory is put forward by Jef Verschueren for pragmatic investigation.It emphasizes that in the process of using language,the language choice must be adapted to the context.When translating Mo Yan's Chinese novel to English version Shifu,You'll Do Anything for a Laugh,Goldblatt adapts to the English linguistic and communicative context.He does produce a readable version in English world,but on the other hand,he may miss some essential specific words and expressions with cultural-bound images. |
