| Abstract: | This paper introduces the characteristics of constructivist teaching and learning.It also examines a variety of methods used to assess college student learning outcomes,and compares their advantages and disadvantages from a constructivist learning perspective.In addition,this research also suggests that,to improve the validity and reliability of student outcomes assessment,Chinese higher education should provide faculty and related staff with workshops of assessment knowledge and skills,establish an institutional review board to monitor survey assessment involving students,and improve classroom assessment. |
