| Abstract: | Clan codes and family instructions of Zhang clan in Hui-an Zhangkeng at Ming Dynasty is the codes of behaviour to educate the descendants in the way one gets along with people and the way one conducts oneself in society,which entrust the ancestors' hope.Its main contents are:respecting the ancestors and living in harmony to promote friendship;transmitting the civilization and etiquette to reinforce the foundation;being modest and courteous,thrifty and simple to guard against arrogance and luxury.These contents have a vast reservoir of active and excellent ethical thought. |
