论体育在上海“两个文明”建设中的地位和作用

采用调查、文献资料等研究方法，从体育对上海城市化、现代化进程的影响；国外体育在推进城市国际化、现代化方面的成功经验；创建与上海城市地位及目标相适应的一流上海体育等方面入手，论述了体育在上海“两个文明”建设中的地位和作用。

On Position and Function of Sports in Building Material Civilization and Cultural and Ideological Progress

Using the methods of investigation and literature, in accordance with the influence of sports on the progress of Shanghai's urbanization and modernization, and consulting the successful experience of foreign countries in promoting the internationalization and modernization of cities by sports, this paper points out that it is necessary to establish the first-class sports in Shanghai which will fit in with Shanghai's position and objective. Meanwhile, the author expounds the position and function of sports in building material civilization and cultural and ideological progress for Shanghai.
