TEM8阅读理解得分率与应试者词汇广度的相关性分析——以2010TEM8阅读测试为例

词汇广度对应试者读懂语篇字面含义有较大影响，但实验研究表明，应试者的词汇广度对TEM8阅读理解得分率无显著性影响，TEM8阅读测试重点在于考核应试者对语篇深层意义，即语言在特定语境中含义的理解。在阅读理解测试的高级阶段，应试者对语篇的理解程度受其背景、层次和程度等因素的影响。

Correlation Analysis of Marks in Reading Test of TEM8 and Breadth of Vocabulary of Candidates --Taking Reading Test in 2010TEM8 as an Example

Breadth of vocabulary has been identified as one of the most important factors in determining whether literal meaning can be achieved. The present study indicates that there is no marked relationship between breadth of vocabulary and marks in the part of read comprehension of TEM8, which focuses on examining candidates＇ access to the deep meaning of the discourse. At the advanced level of reading test, background knowledge, competence and quality of candidates have a profound influence in their understanding of the discourse.
