我国公示语英译失误分析及解决办法

随着国际交流与合作的进一步深入,来中国旅游观光和商务活动的外国人越来越多,为了方便和服务国际友人,我们制作了相应的英语公示语,但目前我国很多公示语翻译得不够规范和准确,外国朋友看不懂,所以达不到公示语应有的示意功能,不能很好地为现实服务。鉴于此,在对公示语英译中常见的问题进行解析的基础上,提出改变现状的措施,从而彰显公示语应有的示意功能。

Analyses and Solutions of Inaccurate English Translations for Chinese Public Signs

With the rapid development of international communication and cooperation,more and more English-speaking tourists and businessmen are swarming into China.We＇re making a lot of English signs to serve and guide them.But some Chinese-English translations are incorrect or inaccurate,and therefore the public signs can not achieve our desired purposes.This paper analyzes the common mistakes of English translation on public signs and puts forward the constructive solutions to manifest the due signifying function of public signs.
