| Abstract: | In his Rectified Interpretation of Meng Zi, Jiao Xun in the Qing Dynasty made some detailed annotations on Zhao Qi＇ s Meng Zi. In his annotation, Jiao Xun tried to be practical and pragmatic, collecting all possible evidences and quoting from numerous sources, thereby having set a good example for annotations. Owing to various reasons, Jiao Xun had, however, showed partiality towards Zhao Qi＇ s work, thus having made complicated, repetitious and false notes in his interpretation. |
