英、美教育史学之比较

英美两国教育史学同属一个学术传统,20世纪60年代,随着修正派教育史学的兴起,两国的教育史研究趋于成熟,形成了不同的研究风格:美国教育史学界热衷于争论教育史研究的范围,批评、颠覆之风十分盛行;英国教育史学家则侧重扩大教育史的研究范围,英国教育史学的变化是渐进的,而不是革命式的;另外,英美两国的教育史研究都强调借鉴社会科学的理论与方法,但在具体研究中,英国教育史学比美国的更富有洞见。
