NBA Lockouts and Capitalist Economic Crisis

The paper analyses the lockouts of the NBA of the four U.S.professional sports leagues according to the three development stages of the capitalism.The paper suggests that the league lockout is the necessary result of the new freedom development of the capitalist country and is closely related with the economic crisis of the capitalistic history.The case study of NBA lockouts shows that the internal contradictions of capitalism benefit maximization and the infinite inflation of personal freedom and right are the main reasons for strikes and lockouts.The league lockout reflects the U.S.mixed market economy development mode and basic principles of negotiation and democracy guided by the new freedom.The lockout is still in the frame work of the capitalist free market and the reform is performed in league organization,system arrangement and income allocation.
