| Abstract: | The paper, starting form these aspects such as the implication, driving forces of modernization, the relation between tradition and modernization as well as the transformation of the paradigm in Chinese modernization research, discusses the achievements and historiography trends of studying Chinese modernization history in the recent years, affirms the positive influence of the modernization research in widening the research field in Chinese modem history and attaining academic innovation. |
