| Abstract: | More and more linguistic learners and researchers have showed their peculiar interest on transferred epithet,a part of rhetoric.They illustrate its categories,usage,characteristics from different fields.Besides all these,the paper also gives brief illustration on the pragmatic failure caused by it in the course of cross-cultural communication. |
