| 摘 要： | 在我国近来大力倡导“终身学习”理念和推行新一轮大学英语课程改革的大背景下,通过分析国内外学者所做的有关英语自主学习的大量实证研究,得出在我国大班条件下实施英语自主学习的可行性和必要性,应该采取转变教学观念、倡导协作学习等相应的教学策略来不断培养学生的自主学习能力。

| Abstract: | In accordance with the notion of "lifelearning" and the reform of college English,this article briefly introduces the concept and theoretical background of "Autonomous Learning",and explains the necessity and feasibility of fostering "Autonomous Learning" for English in largeclass instruction in China. The author also puts forward some teaching strategies for reference. |
