Abstract:The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the current situation of pre - school physical education in China by using the theory of post - mode- mism as well as related theories. It aims at reconsidering and redefining the pre - school physical education in terms of guiding ideology, teaching contents, organizing forms and the relations between teachers and children so as to seek the path of development to pre - school physical education under the influence of modernism and post - modernism.
