This paper aims to discuss discrimination of regional dialectical characteristic phrases in crime investigations,to identify the speech material of criminal cases truly or falsely and apply relevant theories and knowledge of dialectology.We examine the different characteristic dialectical phrases of the speech material,then apply this to the crime clues,to provide a scientific foundation for criminal cases.Discriminating the speech material of criminal cases and comparing the dialectical phrases must include the differences between dialectal characteristic phrases and the place name phrases of regional characteristics in dialect.We then make a comprehensive analysis regarding dialectical characteristic phrases and other main language factors.
