试论明成祖迁都北京的原因

明朝在建国初期,围绕着迁都问题进行了数次的争论。在明初期,朱棣进行巩固统治的政治活动之一便是迁都。在中国古代历史上,新朝建立不久即主张迁都实属罕见。究其原因,主要是明朝经济发展的现实特点决定的,即北方经济在全国的弱势地位要求中央政府在政治方面给予倾斜政策来弥补。

Research on the Reason of the Capital-Moving by Cheng Emperor of Ming dynasty

thare were several sharp arguments on moving the capital to another place in the early days of Ming dynasty. When Zhu Li, the Cheng emperor, came to the power. He made the capital moved to strengthen his power and governance over the whole country, especially the north. It seldom happened for a new dynasty to move his capital so soon after its establishment in Chinese history and many historians argued about the reason of this moving. I attempted to give more details on the character of economic development of Ming dynasty, which I think, was the main reason.
