湘西苗疆边墙与白帝天王崇拜文化

湘西苗疆边墙的军事防御与控制功能已经逐渐消失,由苗疆边墙而带来的白帝天王崇拜的复兴在边墙修建时期成为缓解苗、汉冲突,整合社会秩序的对话工具,在苗疆边墙地区军事冲突消失后的今天,仍然成为苗、汉、土家族民众调适内部冲突,维持群体关系,倾诉内心痛苦,释放焦虑情绪,表达心中期望的对话渠道。苗疆边墙地区的苗、汉、土家族民众凭借白帝天王崇拜化解内部冲突,整合社会力量,逐渐达到相互间平等对话、和谐发展的目的。

A Cultural Investigation on the Worship of Baidi Tianwang and the Frontier Wall along Board Areas Inhabited by the Miaos

The military function of the frontier wall along board areas inhabited by the Miaos was gradually invalid,but the rejuvenation of the worship of Baidi Tianwang from the wall became a tool to alleviate the tension,reconcile the conflict and maintain the relations among the Miao,the Han and the Tujia groups.At present,although there is no military conflict,it is still an access for the local ethnic groups to modify internal conflict,keep ties,release grief and anxiety and express their expectancy.Through the worship,the local people can appease the internal divergence,and integrate the social force to achieve the goal of equal dialogue and harmonious development.
